Luggage Weight Lab

Weigh the trade-offs before your bag reaches the check-in desk.

Make room for what matters.

Run the weight check

What’s going in?

Up to 30 rows. Include accessories and the bag itself only once.

Use one unit throughout. Unit switches do not convert existing values. Allowance rules, dimensions, combined cabin limits and airline scale readings are not verified. Weigh the packed bag on a real scale.

Your bag, on balance

Ready when you are. Build a result from your inputs.

Small items add up.

No autosave. Rebuild after changing inputs.

Behind the result

No mystery in the method.

Total packed weight = empty bag weight + sum of item weight × quantity. Remaining allowance = entered allowance minus total weight. A negative remainder is the amount over your entered limit. Item contributions are ranked from heaviest to lightest.

Before you go

Does it know my airline limit?

No. Enter a limit that you have verified with your carrier for your specific fare and bag.

Does switching kg/lb convert weights?

No. It relabels their interpretation. Re-enter all numbers consistently.

What is an item’s weight?

The weight of ONE item. Quantity multiplies it; do not enter the batch weight unless quantity is one.
